BG Bueno ("we", "our", or "us"), run by Bryan Bueno in the Philippines, operates bgbueno.com, a free browser-based image editing suite. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Because all image processing runs locally in your browser, we never see, receive, or store your photos.

All tools on BG Bueno — background removal, image compression, enhancement, resizing, conversion, cropping, metadata removal, and ID photo generation — run entirely within your web browser using the Canvas API and WebAssembly. Your images are never uploaded to our servers, never transmitted over the internet, and never stored anywhere outside your device. The AI models used for background removal are downloaded once from a CDN and cached locally in your browser's IndexedDB. After the initial download, the tool operates fully offline for image processing.

The QR Code Generator on BG Bueno runs entirely within your web browser. Any text, URL, or other content you enter into the QR generator is never transmitted to our servers and never stored outside your device.

QR code generation is performed locally using a JavaScript library (qrcode-generator) loaded from a public CDN. This library runs inside your browser session only. Once the QR code is generated and downloaded, no record of the input text or output image is retained by BG Bueno.

We do not log, record, or analyse the content of QR codes you create. The only network request involved is a one-time load of the QR generation library from a public CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com).

Generated QR codes are yours to use for any purpose, including commercial projects, with no restrictions from BG Bueno.

BG Bueno has no user accounts and does not run analytics or tracking scripts of its own. The limited information involved in running the site is:

• Server logs: like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard request information (IP address, browser user agent, page requested and time) in server logs used for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept by the host for a limited period and are not used to identify or profile visitors. • Emails you send us: if you contact us at info@bgbueno.com, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply. • Advertising: Google AdSense may collect information through cookies, as described in the Google AdSense section below.

We do NOT collect or receive: your images, QR code content, text you compare in the Diff Checker, names, payment information, or precise location data.

BG Bueno stores a small amount of data in your own browser:

• IndexedDB / cache storage: the AI model files used for background removal are cached on your device so they don't have to be downloaded again. This data never leaves your device. • Local storage: your cookie-banner choice (accepted or declined) is remembered so the banner isn't shown on every visit.

BG Bueno does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Google AdSense, described below, may set cookies to serve and measure ads. If you choose "Decline" in our cookie banner, we ask Google to show non-personalized ads only. You can reset your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements that help keep BG Bueno free. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting https://www.google.com/settings/ads or https://www.aboutads.info/choices/.

We comply with Google's Publisher Policies and EU User Consent Policy where applicable. We do not pass personally identifiable information to Google in connection with AdSense.

We may use the following third-party services:

• Content delivery networks: the AI background-removal model files are downloaded from a CDN the first time you use that tool, and the QR library from cdnjs.cloudflare.com. As with any web request, these include standard technical information such as your IP address. • Our hosting provider: serves the website and keeps standard server logs. • Google AdSense: to display advertisements. These services have their own privacy policies governing use of information. We encourage you to review them.

We don't keep a database of visitors. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request, and server logs are kept by our host for a limited period for security purposes. AI models cached in your browser's IndexedDB can be cleared at any time through your browser's storage settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cached images and files).

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR (EU/EEA), UK GDPR, CCPA (California), or similar privacy laws, including:

• The right to access personal data we hold about you. • The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"). • The right to object to processing. • The right to data portability.

BG Bueno is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@bgbueno.com immediately so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
